Hilary asked:

I need to name my little home business. What should I name it? I make chainmaille jewelry and would like the name to have something to do with being fresh and unique. I can’t think of any good names or find and offbeat words to use in the name. Any ideas?
Or maybe something medieval or fantasy related…

I’m really interested in making jewelry like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/64794509/tiny-terrarium-chessman-ring?ref=v1_other_2 but cannot for the life of me find a source for the domes. I thought about using a lightbulb, but that seems like it wouldn’t be sturdy enough for jewelry.

Midwest Maven asked:

Does anyone know of a tutorial available or understand the technique for making fingerprint jewelry? I would like to learn how to do this and also learn how to transfer children’s drawings onto metal. There are many websites that SELL these things, but I’m interested in learning how to do it myself.

Jewelry Making: What is the correct term for the small piece of metal that has a stop on one end?

Magdalene asked:

It is just straight on the other end. You would put your bead (or beads) on it and form a loop on the other end so that it can dangle.

It looks pretty much like a straight pin without the point.

Worst come to worst I will use straight pins but they are harder to bend to form a loop.
Thanks so Much, Susan L. That is exactly what I was looking for. Will give you 10 points as soon as the time has passed so I can do it.

I would like to know what metals are best to use for jewelry making in terms of lifespan, safety, and not discolouring etc. Many thanks!
I know to avoid lead, nickel and tibetan silver. Are there any other similar metals to avoid?
