I've always found using a crimping tool is a big help, as is a dot of superglue or hot glue. Also, make sure you are using the right size crimp bead--it can make a big difference. jensen.fan

I don't use the crimping tools for crimping....I use plain old slip jawed pliers, and I crimp twice, changing the direction of the treads slightly to make a cross pattern. When using Stretch Magic, I usually put a dot of hot glue on the end, or slide it up inside the last bead...very SMALL dot. The heat helps to keep it sealed, as it melts the elastic. go_milk_a_duck
