beckah :o) asked:
I have a handmade jewelry website that isn’t getting a lot of traffic. I need to find out how I can get noticed preferably for free. I am not a wiz when it comes to computers so if you’d like to help me out, my website is:
frogzilla.etsy.com
thank you to anyone who responds!

Hi Beckah,
Try
It promotes Etsy stores exclusively. Showcasing your store cost only $5 a month. There is no need to create your Ad. Your featured item in Etsy will be displayed on the home page. You can easily manage your Ad by changing your featured item in Etsy.
Check it out! cindy

Here are some good free resources online that I think will help you immensely:
1) Own a facebook fanpage. Invite all of your facebook friends and tell them to spread the word. I’ve gotten a lot of traffic and some sales from Facebook.
2)Sign up for twitter.com. Add as many people as you can and then post updates of your shop on there.
3)Start a myspace for your shop and promote on there! Post exclusive deals and put up pictures of your latest items.
4)Set up Google Base. Google base helps you get into the “shopping results” when people search for similar keywords to your items in the Google search engine. Here’s some more info about how to set that up:
